it was after Elijah rested, that he had his breakthrough.
it was during Elijah's rest, he came into the presence of God and he realized that he is not going through suffering alone. God is with him. And with God, 7000 others who are still going strong in the Lord.
from then on, he had peace. He had no more issues with his ministry on earth. there is no more records of him crying out to God for things that are not favorable to him.
Ahab is still alive. Jezebel is still after his life. his situation did not change. yet there is no more crying out in depression anymore. Elijah had come into the rest of peace.
find time to rest in the presence of God.
