there's this newspaper article today about Singapore trying to promote gaming and it's national heritage together
they are trying to gather gamers to submit their proposal of a game, ranging from single flash games to MMORPG and if they won the bid they get 4000 moolah to fund their project. hmmm...
sounds good to me but...why tag it together with singapore's history ? why not make an animation instead ? anyways 4000 isn't really enough, after much discussion with one of my newly acquired friend.
but anyways...I was thinking about last last last week's make-up cellgroup at Bettina's house when Sabrina, the CGL, asked, "when should guys stop playing games?"
well...actually we can't because it's one of our top 5 needs...so sorry ladies...go play with your man on Xbox360 :D
what's so bad about games anyway ? you go online, you play, you have fun and you get to interact with people all over the world. you get to learn their native language, their culture, and how to handle your finances, how to do business, what to do when there's inflation (whenever a mass dupe or new item appears there's bound to be a huge change in the game's market) and how to manage your anger (when people come and disturb/bully you and you gotta keep calm or risk creating more problems. simple cause and effect scenerio :p) and the best part is, you do it at the comfort of your own home. GREAT!! :D
and research has found out that...if you're a gamer you tend to be more alert and notice more things than those who do not, especially good when you're a formula 1 driver...
or the guy who drove the tofu shop car around :D
