BUT! apparently EZ-link got smarter. They got rid of the negative value capability (oh noes >_<) so you now MUST have exactly or more than what you are supposed to PAY UP FRONT. (bus stop woes incoming!!!) no more "top up later la...now so rush"
and our current cards are going to phase out in 18 months.
so the thing is, if I'm going out and then I for some nonsensical reason I forgot to top up my card and the nearest GTM is like halfway around Singapore or it's so packed of people (because the nearest is halfway around Singapore)? I got to call ghostbusters.
